Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Sports Teacher to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting physical education and sports sessions, promoting fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct physical education and sports sessions for students
- Train students in various sports and physical activities
- Organize and prepare students for sports events, competitions, and tournaments
- Ensure student safety during all sports and PE sessions
- Maintain sports equipment and facilities
- Track student fitness levels and progress
- Coordinate with other teachers and academic staff
- Participate in school events, orientation, and activities
Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of sports training and physical education
- Strong classroom/ground management skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work with students, parents, and staff
- Prior teaching/coaching experience is preferred
Qualifications
- B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed
